Scope of Shipping:
Lokpal Industries arranges for the delivery of goods ranging from small components to heavy machinery and lift systems across India and to select international destinations. This policy outlines the terms governing the shipping and delivery of your order.
Shipping Destinations :
- Domestic: We ship to all states and union territories within India.
- International: We export to select countries. For international orders, the buyer is responsible for all customs duties, import taxes, and brokerage fees. We recommend checking with your local customs office for estimated costs before ordering.
Order Processing Time :
- In-Stock Items: Orders for products in stock (e.g., standard pallet trucks, hand trucks) are typically processed and dispatched within 2-3 business days after payment confirmation and inspection if any.
- Made-to-Order Items: Products like Home Lifts, Goods Lifts, custom storage racks, and specialized cranes require manufacturing time. The estimated dispatch timeline (usually 4-8 weeks) will be clearly communicated in our quotation and order confirmation Delivery time start from advance reciept as well.
- Processing Cut-off: Orders placed after 2:00 PM IST will be considered as received on the next business day.
Shipping Methods and Carriers :
We select carriers based on the size, weight, and value of the product:
- Small Parcels: For small items, we use reputable courier services like Delhivery, Blue Dart, or professional partners.
- Heavy Machinery and Bulk Orders: For heavy equipment and bulk orders, we utilize dedicated transport companies, including open or closed truck/trailer services.
- Over-Dimensional Cargo (ODC): For exceptionally large equipment, special transport arrangements (trailers with pilot vehicles) may be necessary, which will be discussed and approved with you prior to shipping.
Shipping Charges :
- Calculation: Shipping charges are calculated based on the total weight, volumetric dimensions, destination, and the mode of transport required.
- Display: Charges will be clearly shown in your quotation and final invoice.
- Free Shipping: Occasionally, we may offer free shipping promotions on specific products to select locations. This will be clearly mentioned in the offer.
- Exact shipping charge will be known at the time of actual dispatch only.
Delivery Timelines :
Delivery estimates are provided in good faith and are based on the information provided by our carriers.
- Standard Delivery: Typically 3-7 business days after dispatch for metro cities.
- Remote Locations: Deliveries to remote or difficult-to-access locations may take longer.
- Installation-Dependent Products: For products requiring installation (like lifts), delivery is considered complete once the equipment is at your site. Installation will be scheduled separately.
- Delays: Lokpal Industries is not liable for delays caused by unforeseen circumstances such as carrier strikes, natural disasters, customs clearance (for international), or other force majeure events.
Delivery Process :
- Notification: You will receive a dispatch notification via email and SMS containing the tracking number and carrier details.
- Contact Prior to Delivery: The carrier will contact you via phone to schedule a convenient delivery time.
- Inspection Upon Delivery: It is imperative that you or an authorized representative is present to inspect the shipment at the time of delivery.
- Visible Damage: Note any visible damage on the delivery receipt (Proof of Delivery) and take photographs. You may refuse acceptance if the damage is severe.
- Shortages: Verify the quantity received matches the invoice. Note any shortages on the delivery receipt.
Failed Delivery Attempts :
If the carrier is unable to deliver because of incorrect address information provided by you, or because no one was present to accept the delivery after multiple attempts, the package may be returned to us. You will be responsible for the cost of re-shipping the order.
Special Handling for Lifts and Cranes :
Deliveries of lifts, cranes, and large machinery often require:
- Tailgate/Lorry with Crane: Ensure the receiving site has adequate unloading facilities. If a crane or forklift is required at your site for unloading, it is your responsibility to arrange it, unless otherwise agreed in the contract.
- Site Access: Please ensure the delivery vehicle has clear access to the drop-off point.
- Carriers may levy detention charge if there is delay beyond 24 Hrs after reporting at your end for delivery.
